This will definitely look a bit strange on HDTVs since it's a vertical scroller.  But hey, I'll deal with it; it's a shooter! 

With Ikaruga coming to XBLA later in the year, and now this... More, please (I'm looking at you, Konami)!

Well you know what to do with any TV and vertical shootie, eh?  Nice to see 1942 back, now just give us a proper console port of 19XX!

EDIT: OK, nevermind.  Upon closer examination of the pictures, it looks like it'll be mimicing 1941.  A shame, I wanted an excuse to rotate an HDTV (though I guess there is Ikaruga HD.)
