I considered going to the one in Osaka, but tickets were EXPENSIVE (I think they sold out pretty quickly though) and I have to say the tracklists for these concerts are getting a tad stale for my tastes.

A friend of mine went there though, and he said it was nice, but he enjoyed the amateur FF6 concert last year a lot more, and although I haven't been to Distant Worlds, I can say that the FF6 concert, with all its faults, is going to be a hard one to top.

Added the June 17 E3 Los Angeles show to the concert list. The program will include music from all 14 Final Fantasy games, and attending the show will be Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.

It sure would make a good opportunity for them to arrange some more FFXII music, but given that the program appears to be including so many titles, I wouldn't be surprised if they just reused the Dalmasca Estersand arrangement.

And Amazingu, I agree that it would be nice to see some more ambitious arrangements in their programs. The handling of the FFVI material in the recent concerts and Distant Worlds III album is a good indication I think of how they seem content to just kind of slide by with minor additions, rather than shooting for something really special.
