Has anyone noticed how italic prices now represent currency exchange in eBay search results?

Er, I can't think of any other way to word it... no more seeing
GBP 23.99
and wondering what it translates to in dollars.

I'm sure that'll prevent a ton of negative feedback from illiterate pokemon kiddies who think they're getting a deal, but actually end up paying twice the price or whatever.

It'll also prevent certain USA-dwelling sellers from listing stuff in GBP to take advantage of said kiddies. :)

It only affects search results though... but it's still a big step in the right direction.

Edit: I'm a bloody moron.  Apparently it's done that for a while.  I just noticed it because I was logged out for the first time in forever.  *hunts around for the setting to turn "show original currency" off all the time*

Yeah, it's been like that for awhile. =P But, it's definitely a nice addition. Now only if they'd stop boosting the fees up. -_-

I wouldn't count on ebay for anything.  They run things primarily as a company, not as a consumer-friendly service.
