Anyone enjoy listening to vgm backwards?
Personally, I find "Pledge" off of Chaos Legion Soundtrack to sound quite good reversed.
Messing around with tracks with Audacity program is too much fun.
Another recommendation is to slow down "Is Pink Finally Necessary" from Pink Sweets OST.

Try listening to "Title (The Origin)" from Zone of the Enders backwards for a special surprise!
When I buy the album I'll give it a listen that way.
Also of note for today: Savage Warriors track 15 (ending song) has a backmasked part in the track.

"Final Fantasy" from Final Fantasy V downshifted by six semitones is absurdly beautiful. There's a special nuance I hadn't noticed until doing so: listen to the way those sixteenth note triplets are used at 0:48, 1:01, 1:14, and 1:27. You may need headphones to properly hear them, but I found it intriguing that Uematsu doesn't repeat its use during the next two verses. Check it out:

The chorus part from the FFVIII Piano Collections rendition of Eyes on Me downshifted is really lovely sounding in its elegance as well.

On this track I have discovered that at .35 playback speed in Audacity it becomes a huge stomping track. Recommended.
