Of all time. Who makes you crack up whenever they're onscreen?

My #1 would have to be Chris Farley. It didn't matter what he did, he was just hilarious. Especially as a ninja.

For #2 I would say Jim Carrey. There's no one like him. What else can I say?

And for #3 I'll go with Will Sasso. His MadTV impersonations of Kenny Rogers, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Randy Newman, George Lucas, Steven Seagal, Elvis and others are over the top but super funny.

There are so many more, but those are my top three. The Seinfeld cast is another one I love. They kinda function as one unit rather than as four separate individuals to me though.

Owen Wilson always cracks me up.  He has a silly sort of innocence about him I find amusing.  Haven't seen any of his stuff since The Wedding Crashers but will have to catch up.

Jerry Seinfeld

To be honest, I can't stand Jerry Seinfeld anymore. Ever since he left Seinfeld he pops up every once in a while like "I'm still important!" and the amount of plugging he did for Bee Movie was quite irritating. Also those commercials with Bill Gates, like they know anything about living like a normal person.

Might as well say this: Will Ferrel has an over-exposure problem IMO. Quite sick of him...

I'd go with Amy Poehler; I was a fan of hers before she ended up on SNL; I wonder when season three of the Upright Citizens Brigade will end up on DVD, it was the best season.

Chris Farley is a great pick. He just had perfect comedy expressions. Christopher Guest never really fails to make me laugh. William Shatner too - he's comedy gold.

You should read the memoir his bother wrote: "The Chris Farley Show." It's downright sad but really sheds some light on the side of Chris Farley most people didn't see. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Didn't improve my opinion of Chris Rock however.

Bill Murray maybe? I dunno, not really a lot of choices in the thread so far that resonate with me outside of Christopher Guest.

Looks like there's a copy at one of my local libraries--I will definitely be checking that out. Thanks!

What did Chris Rock do?  Definitely have to check that out...actually reading books now (or reading a book "Heaven & Hell" my life in the Eagles - Don Felder), via the Kindle app on the iPad.

With Chris Rock, everything has to be about race. That's about it in a nutshell - it get's old, really quick. Additionally, even in a book not about him, he makes it about him.

Reminds me of a quote of his I read in People where he said "he wants the freedom to suck like the white man." Mission accomplished Chris, mission accomplished. Yes, everybody does hate you.

I would say Chad Warden is my favorite funny actor. He stars in many youtube videos. Certainly funnier than most actors today because he can keep the story going all the way to the end without some banal nonsense to ruin the journey.

Some of his best work. In fact, this is the best thing I've seen on youtube this year.

The late Graham Chapman. Even his funeral was funny.

Lucille Ball takes the number one spot on my list.  Robin Williams, Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Bea Arthur, and Estelle Getty all deserve special mention as well.

Did anyone see the Fey/Steve Carell action-comedy vehicle "Date Night"?  I'll have to check it out once it hits home in August.

Did you check out this year's Weapons of Self Destruction? It was decent but contained way to much retread to surpass 2002's Live on Broadway.
