As many of you are probably already aware, Club Nintendo is ending in all regions soon.  The final U.S. prizes were unveiled earlier this month, but the Japanese ones just went up today.  Looks like they're getting two 2-disc albums.  One is the Mario Kart 8 OST and the other is "Nintendo Sound Selection: Mario and Peach," which has a collection of 30 ending/credits themes from Nintendo games.

The MK8 one is only 180 coins, which is ridiculously cheap, so hopefully that one at least is easy to get.  The latter is 500, though, so I can see it being harder to track down.

I REALLY hope this isn't the last we'll see of Nintendo physical discs - Club Nintendo became a good source for those existing, even if they ended up being difficult for us to get overseas.

I'm totally getting both of these.  Cannot friggin' wait.

wholly molly! If there's ever been a soundtrack that deserves a release but never got one, that is it!! I guess I don't understand Nintendo's take on what to publish. We get a 2-CD soundtrack of ending/credit themes, but they refuse to publish a masterpiece. Go figure.

Might any other kind soul out there have any spare Club Nintendo Japan codes that would otherwise go wasted?  I'm 10 points away from Mario Kart bliss.

I see a few pre-order auctions for the soundtrack on eBay.  Each seller wants ~$70US + shipping for it.

If that's the only option we (in the USA) have to get it, then I may pay for it.  But if there's a kind(er) soul here whou would be willing to part with it for a smaller price, then please, keep me in mind (and contact me). 

These are really easy to find and cheaper than ebay's listings if you're willing to use a middleman and shop on YJA. YJA is literally bursting with Club Nintendo albums.
