RIP Moebius (Panzer Dragoon)

The French comic book artist and designer Jean Giraud aka Moebius, whose work inspired the Panzer Dragoon series as well as Nausicaa and any number of the other works, passed away a couple days ago.

As you can see here the Panzer Dragoon series wouldn't exist as we know it today (if at all) if not for his imagination and distinct visual style.

Didn't know about his connection to the Panzer Dragoon series, but I was always a big fan of Mobius' comics like Airtight Garage. His legacy remains.

R.I.P

he was a great artist. it must be cool to inspire so many people.

He was a wonderful and imaginative artist. Sad indeed, but we should be happy he provided us with such beautiful artwork. By the way, as people probably heard, Ralph MacQuuarrie who designed much of the look of Star Wars, BSG, etc. also died a few days ago. Here is a link on both artists.
