As for no DVD, I guess there's extra rights pertaining to visual & live performance rights which must be a bitch to acquire or something...  It's so crushing and sad to see Event after Event all pass by these recent years with no official Videos to preserve them!  (x__x);;;

Well it's good to hear the tickets sold out though, even if it wasn't to any of us. 

I have, and I hate it.  And I hate the fact that this punk gets all these hot chics.  Yeah I'm jealous, but my mind is still boggled.

Well in that case fair enough I guess.  Don't consider myself a fan either but I think it's a quality album.

Opened the "Official Compilation" companion CD today, so here's first impressions.
Love the extensive booklet, giving a Profile for each of the dozen or so people involved.

1. Rally-x, the track itself is nice but I got a bit tired of the voice phrases.
2. New Tamayo!!  Loved the first half, very cool tribal sound, then morphs into a very katamari-ish chill-out relax song
3. Very nice self arrange of Dragon Spirit, totally dig this medley track once it really heats up.
4. Not familiar with these tunes, but a few of the medley parts are nice.
5. Sakimoto getting all modern & industrial here, nice overbearing mechanicalized feeling.
6. nice Dai-ou-jou megamix, with just a few sprinkles of newness over the OST versions.
7. Hip Tanaka gets blippy!  Lots of short blips & beeps going haywire, and it's quirky fun for a while, but I'd get very tired of this style if it was a whole album worth's of this.
8. Ito gets a nice Spanish Guitar groove going here, Carlos Santana could easily do a guest-star appearance in this track.
9. Yuzo feeds us the intrumental version of his NamcoxCapcom Opener, and it's quite tasty!
10.  SFX are flying all over the place with these famicom arranges... decent but not omg-wow.
11. cuteness alert!  this is the first i've heard of a momo-i track, but it's 8bit based with kid friendly kawaii style singing.  I'll call this style "Famicom Playpen Songs for Your Toddlers"
12. Same usual Furukawa style, a mellow backgrounder, but could use a shot of energy to make it stand out a bit.
13. Hibino hands us a new vocal song, styled as operatic and tragic.
14. Hiro shows a modern take on Afterburner live in 2004.  The jazzy improves from 2:14 through 3:00 are new on this version.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the disc, on the first time through.

Looks like there's a new promo-only CD released.
