And so far it seems that Shoji is working solo.  How does it feel so FRESH, then?  Maybe he spent like two hours on Devil Summoner, and two years on this.

The music in P3 is definitely different from Meguro's regular stuff.  I love him to death, but I was really hoping that the gang from Persona 2 would be back.

Ah well.  It's great music! I have been playing the game, and I am about 12 hours in.  It is not what I expected, but that is definitely not a bad thing.  I am having a lot of fun, despite the random dungeons (which I really never enjoy).

By the way, if anybody wanted to rip the music from the game, it appears to be in ADX format inside ROFS (CRI Middleware stuff).  I don't know if it's extractable from the ROFS or not.

For what it's worth, Devil Summoner was definitely among the highlights this year for me. Crappy disc timing (could've been a single disc), but hardly anything I'd want to skip.

I still need to look into Persona 3.
