Just wondering, does anyone know of a good plug-in -- preferably for Winamp -- who's feature specifies independent tempo adjustment? (In other words, being able to speed up or slow down the music tempo without affecting the music pitch?)  I combed Winamp.com's site, but maybe not fully enough; of the ones I tried, Chronotron made songs sound pretty awful, and although PaceMaker sounds great on songs with a tempo up-pitch, there are some serious warble and chopping issues when doing down-pitches.

Was there a better one I missed?  Or are there any good ones that's not on Winamp's site?

Plug-in? No such luck. I did find this demo however, which offers "Adjustable tempo and pitch" and "Automatic tempo increment." As long as you can do everything you need to in 14 days (or are willing to pony up $80-150 after the fact), this should do it.

Heh, I've actually got a keygen crack for SwarMala; but it's not quite a program I'm looking to use.

I hesitate to use Creative's MediaSource Player, but its EAX time-scaling feature seems to work pretty well.
