I ask because I have yet to see one, and its doubtful there might be with that mini-soundtrack included with the Japanese game ("God Tracks" smile)  If there isn't I honestly might think of buying the Japanese version, as the music is just kick-ass!

There is no "official" CD release, just the God Tracks album that comes with the JP PS2 game. The "mini-soundtrack" you're mentioning is actually a 23-track, 70+ minute beast! I imported the game because I had faith in my man Takada, and he delivered, big time. I didn't know how long the album was, or what was on it, so just imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw that it was 70 minutes long and was full of inventive, kick-ass music. I know Nick G. feels the same way... this disc is a hit!

This is by the guy who did Killer 7, right?  And its good?

Yeeeeeah. I'm bumping this topic up to encourage people to grab a hold of this disc if you're into fresh and funky music. Takada took his composition to a whole new level with this one. Killer7 ruled, but this is, like... BAM! Awesome.

I've heard similar things about the game, too.

The game and the soundtrack are excellent, though the disc is missing like +20 tracks. Most of them aren't too interesting except for the ending song and 5 or so very cool boss tracks. Especially a remix of "Rainy Rose" (which is more or less like God Hand's "Rave on" from Killer7) that is infinitely better than the original.

A whole bunch of shit that made me sad.

Dammit! "Rainy Rose" is awesome... gah! Need extra tracks!

If you think about it the worst thing is that the album effectively blocks an official release. I mean, it has almost all the good songs and I guess most people wouldn't rebuy a complete ost just for a few more tracks. It's like Clover said "ok, we are going down and won't be able to release the ost so include a free cd with the game and fill it as much as possible lolz".

On a side note I've just noticed that Grasshopper's official site says Masafuni Takada is collaborating in the latest beatmania thingy. The song is "IceCube Pf.(RX-Ver.S.P.L.)", you can hear a sample here: http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/bm2dx/12hs/newsong/
Sounds great to me.

Bump to an old thread because I found a site that has a FULL GAME RIP of God Hand! It has the GOD TRACKS album along with all of the Jukebox CDs from the game that aren't available on the CD that was pressed with the game. Talk about an awesome find:
