In most forums you can post images for others to see. I don't understand why this is not the case here? Granted, I'm not a web developer, but I don't think this is too difficult to implement? In terms of spam, I don't think that a forum dedicated to video game music would be overrun with spam (we haven't so far). So Adam, any reason why we can't post pics?

I personally think it would be great to be able to share hotlinks (pics) with others. Adam's call of course, but I think this is the only forum I regularly use that does not allow for this.

You're not yelling or angry, but your original post and thread title imply you're more or less demanding the feature instead of asking for it.

I didn't get the demanding impression from avatar's post even after reading it again. Maybe it wasn't the most subtle request, but demanding... not so much.

Personally, I don't see the need for images big enough to implement the feature. The forum has always been about simplicity and minimalism. I would prefer not to change that. Certainly, image spam wouldn't be an issue here among rather civilized people, but if you think of it, a sudden random image in the middle of all the text would really jump at your face. I'd vote against the image option.

However, Idolores' post made me hope we'd have some sort of 'like' button or equivalent here, I would've really liked to, well, like his post XD

I wouldn't mind having pictures in here, and you could even make them so that by default you would have to click a button to see the picture. Or just enable all pics be seen on profile settings. OF course all depends if this forum software allows something like that, and if it's easy to enable.

Yet another reason to implement a pic feature...

While the forum software has changed, it doesn't feel much different from the late 90s.  I appreciate that I'm not seeing banners or overblown forum signatures or meme pic responses.  I'm not strongly against pics being enabled, but I'm also fine with the status quo.

I love the cleanliness here but pics could be handy. I think we all have enough restraint not to answer every post with a meme... at least, I could try.
