That Elia theme remix is so beautiful, brings a tear to my eye. I feel like breaking out FF Pray and listening to "When you meet her" now...actually, I think I'll go do that now, it's been way too long since i've heard that album. Toodles!

Hmm, the original FF III had 4 males.  It looks like Square-Enix changed it to 3 males, 1 female.

So, tell me.... which one is the female here?  Most people looking at this piece of artwork see three girls and one guy.  In my eyes, the two on the right are most definitely guys, but danged if the two on the left don't look like girls.  o_O

Guys and girls are interchangable in SquareEnix games. There are four girls and four dudes in that pic, Angela.

Three males and one female has been confirmed, hasn't it?

Also....

No original version = sad
Most character art and FMV not matching in-game graphics = sad

I forgot...who's handling the musical arrangements for the DS release?

Looks like classic fun to me. smile

Tsuyoshi Sekito and Keiji Kawamori. This means we could get Black Mage-ish battle arrangements big_smile

I went by the trailer CG. Going by the artwork, there is 1 definite guy, 2 androgynous guys, and 1 definite female.  You can decide whether the two androgynous people are male or female, but based on the CG, this party seems to me 3 guys and 1 gal.

In one way I'm excited, and in several other ways I'm torn. One, that it's been remade from the original graphics and presumably storyline and music. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing my favorite characters remade as 3D, I loved seeing the FF6 characters come to life in CG. But I guess there's also the nostalgia factor -- I wouldn't mind playing the old sprites and graphics.

Two, the difference between in-game graphics and the cutscenes, with fully proportioned people in the FMVs and SD midgets for in-game use. That difference has bothered me since FF7. I know such differences have been around for some time -- Xenogears comes to mind -- yet it still troubles me somehow.

I don't know...I just have a fondness for reliving the original experience. Anyone know if there are plans to port over the ORIGINAL original FF3?

from comments on the magic box website - it is rumoured that this will also make it's way onto PS2 at the same time and will be playable in original and revamped formats.....!

If Elia's theme is the music being played during the first few seconds of the chocobo cutscene in the trailer...God, I want that piece.

No way except when you manually copy/past the URLs, that is.
