How about a thread for non-Orchestral concerts (or concerts in which orchestral music is not the focus) which have not been released on CD and/or DVD/BluRay? This thread was partly inspired by the coming "One Night Re:Birth" rock band concert featuring SaGa series music from the Re:Birth albums. It can also be a thread for noteworthy bits and pieces from Orchestral concerts (e.g. the Black Mages performance of FF7AC's "One-Winged Angel" from the Voices Music From Final Fantasy concert DVD).

LEGEND Game Music Club Event
Date: ?
Location: ? (Japan)
Not really a "concert" as such. Also can't remember much about it. But I do know Yuzo Koshiro was doing some DJ'ing here.

Motoi Sakuraba Live Concert 2 (?) ~Star Ocean & Valkyrie Profile~
Date:  200?.??.??
Location: ?
The other Sakuraba concert that I know of. Can't remember if there were any songs here that didn't get played on the official DVD.

Hyper Game Music Event 2007 EXTRA The Live
Date: 2008.??.??
Location: ?
Features a wide variety of game music and game musicians. The music lives on in CD format but the DVD was cancelled.

Gentle Echo Meeting (Kenji Ito Talk and Mini-Live)
Date: 2009.02.21
Location: 千代田区立内幸町 Hall (Japan)
Features "The Road to Saga" (Culdcept Saga), "Fool's Dance" (Seiken Densetsu 4), "Passionate Rhythm" (Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song) and "other" songs.

Kenji Ito - Passionate Rhythm (Live at Shibuya Duo) (#mmclub iTunes Session)
http://vgmdb.net/album/20521
Date: 2010
Location: Tokyo (Shibuya Duo)
Not a full "concert" as such, consider it a "single". In this case, Kenji Ito, Kyoka Kishikawa (the scat vocalist) and the rest of the band plays "Passionate Rhythm" from Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. Basically, a must watch. This song (among others on the night) can bought digitally as audio. There doesn't seem to be an official video source. On the other hand, the performances were broadcasted live on "BS Fuji TV" (national television broadcaster I think?) and some Japanese citizens had the good foresight to record it. I repeat: a must watch/listen. My ItoXKishikawa quest continues with "The Fool's Dance" (from the Seiken Densetsu Re:Birth Arrange Album) and "THE PHOENIXION -Extra Mix- (From "Culdcept Saga")" which must exist. Somewhere.

Fantasy Rock Festival 2011
Date: 2011.09.17+18
Location: Club Citta (Japan)
Features Nobuo Uematsu and Motoi Sakuraba. Most noteworthy are live performances of six tracks from Sakuraba's "After All" album. The rest from Sakuraba are "Piano Solo~Bass Solo~Drum Solo", "Unconfirmed Battle with God Syndrome" (Valkyrie Profile), and "The Incarnation of Devil" (VP2). From Uematsu are tracks from the Earthbound Papas' "Octave Theory" album.

Moment Game Session Vol.1 ~CHRONO TRIGGER on Classic~
Date: 2012.09.01
Location: Tokyo
This was a cosy concert in a small bar that fit maybe 50 people. Three string players and a pianist performed music from Chrono Trigger. In the second half they played Chrono Cross tracks and featured Tomohiko Kira, the guitarist from the actual soundtrack. He performed for example “Radical Dreamers ~Unstealable Jewel~” and sung it an octave lower. It was absolutely gorgeous. This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Here is someone's review in Japanese

25th Anniversary Arc System Works Festival (Arc Fes)
Date: 2013.05.19
Location: Pacifico Yokohama (Japan)
As far as I know, it is the second BlazBlue/Guilty Gear concert, with the first (2011) and third (2014) ones released on DVD. Features two vocal songs from Faylan and several songs (among others) not played in the other concerts. Those are "Plastic Night" (BlazBlue), "Active Angel" (BB), and "Drunkard Does Make Wise Remarks" (Guilty Gear 2: Overture).

Fantasy Rock Festival 2013 ~Gothic & Dark: Summer Days Visions~
Date: 2013.08.17+18
Location: Club Citta (Japan)
Nobuo Uematsu and various other musicians appear in this one. Game music include "Howl of the Departed Souls" (Lost Oddysey), "Ami" and "The Man with the Machine Gun" (Final Fantasy VIII), Seymour Battle (Final Fantasy X, also on the first Black Mages DVD), "Toneless" (Anata o Yurusanai), Those Who Fight (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children), "My Tears and the Sky" (Blue Dragon), "Big Bridge Battle to the Death" (Final Fantasy V), "Lord of Vermilion" (Lord of Vermilion), and "Dancing Mad" (Final Fantasy VI). Most of these should be from Earthbound Papas' "Dancing Dad" album.

Kenji Ito Special Live - Puzzle x Dragons Fan Thanksgiving Festival 2014
http://pad.gungho.jp/member/event/2014/live.html
Date: 2014.05.25
Location: Tokyo ビッグサイト西1ホール
Another one for Kenji Ito. He takes center stage with his keyboard, with the band playing tunes from the Nintendo 3DS game "Puzzle x Dragons". I'm neither familar with the game nor music. Anyone else can comment? Side note, it seems that Kenji Ito has been or was particularly active on Nico Nico Video, doing live broadcasts, interacting with fans and performing music (e.g. See "Gentle Echo Meeting" above). Oh, there was another PxD concert in 2013 apparently.

Earthbound Papas Dancing Dad World Tour 2014
Date: 2014 (also 2013)
Location: 2014 ones are Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Sweden, Belgium, France
Seems like Nobuo Uematsu's band have performed multiple times in multiple countries, primarily playing tracks from the Earthbound Papas albums. Uematsu experts will need to fill me in on anything good/noteworthy I might have missed (e.g. unique tracks that haven't been played on the Black Mages DVDs).

SaGa 25th Anniversary Live One Night Re:Birth
Date: 2015.05.09 and 2015.05.10
Location: Tokyo and Osaka (Japan)
Concert for Kenji Ito's SaGa series music and apparently the man himself will be on keyboard. Kyoko Kishikawa will be there providing vocals (no tracklist yet but probably for Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song's "Passionate Rhythm" and/or "Invitation to Death"). This is not the only Re:Birth concert - apparently there has at least been another one since 2013 (e.g. One Night Re:Birth at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall [2013.02.24]). Seiken Densetsu music may also have been played before.

Review: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201505/10078354.html
Dayum, it's battle themes from start to finish. It's basically the 3 arrange albums, except live. The cool individual instrument solos found in the "Ren" arrange of Passionate Rhythm is also intact. There seems to be a typo/failed copy-paste as it shows two Romancing SaGa 2 Last Battles - I assume the second one should be RS3 Last Battle. Nothing unique though (not already on the albums) unless you count the Opening song (RS:MS) and the Epilogue (RS2).

Live-A-Live 20th Anniversary Live Concert
Date: 2015.9.25
Location: CLUB SEATA (Tokyo, Japan)
Concert for Yuko Shimomura's Live-A-Live. The track list isn't finalised (or revealed) yet but it appears to be a mostly battle theme extravaganza. Battle themes on show include PSYCHOで夜露死苦!! (Akira's near-future scenario) and KNOCK YOU DOWN! (Street Fighter-esque scenario) both of which should give the guitars a good work out (since they were originally rock-ish themes). Personally, I am very pleased with the admission of and looking most forward to 殺陣!, the battle theme of the Bakumatsu Samurai chapter. I wonder if they will follow the original somewhat faithfully or will they give it a heavy rock makeover? The "trombone" will likely be featured on Kiss of Jealousy (prehistoric chapter battle theme) and KNOCK YOU DOWN! while we will see (and hear) the 二胡 on 殺陣! and 鳥児在天空飛翔 魚児在河里游泳 (China chapter non-battle theme). Wild West's WANDERER should be a treat too. As for MEGALOMANIA, do I really need to say anything more? Shimomura herself will be a guest as will Michio Okamiya (Guitarist from The Black Mages, Earthbound Papas) though he probably won't be playing anything otherwise he'd be in the "Musicians" category.

Silent Hill Live Concert
https://twitter.com/konamieu/status/641190146017226752
Date: 2015 (Late October/Early November)
Location: 5 places, all in the UK.
Yes, you read that correctly. 5 Silent Hill concerts in the UK, none in Japan. As far as live performances go, we last saw Akira Yamaoka (well, the last time I did, my Yamaoka knowledge is outdated) in the Beatmania IIDX Summit DVD in 2008 where he DJ'd some of his tracks from said game franchise. Not much information at the moment, no track list, and no performer list (apart from Yamaoka who will be there). Whether it will lean more towards the vocal songs or the more shit-your-pants instrumentals, remains to be seen. My guess it will mainly be focused on the original first 4 Silent Hill games.

Edit: So it has come to my attention that this is nowhere near the first time Silent Hill has been live. In fact, the most recent one was... this year. Multiple times. If history is of any indication, then expect lots of vocal songs (particularly the Mary Elizabeth McGlynn ones) and expect Yamaoka on guitar. I mostly track/collect DVD/BluRay game music concert releases hence this thread. Evidently, I'm not adapting well to the digital-only release society of today.

Ro2N: Rock On 2Night Guilty Gear Live 2016
http://www.ggxrd.com/ggl2016/
Date: 2016.06.11 / 2016.06.17
Location: Umeda Club Quattro (Osaka) / Shinjuku Blaze (Tokyo)
Not much info yet. Crosses fingers for DVD/BluRay/The Lily of Steel/The Mask Does Not Laugh.
