For some reason I am very disappointed with the music in this game.  I've played the first 2 zones and I find the musical composition in this game to be really boring.  I hope they didn't do what they did to Sonic CD with this game.  Like the Japanese version had a different soundtrack than the American version.  For some reason I think Sega would be smarter than to release a soundtrack this bad in Japan....this is by far some of the worst Sonic stuff I've heard.  Please tell me it gets better...but the first two worlds are awful to listen to I think!

Haven't heard it yet, but I do know that Jun Senoue has pretty much secured himself the soundtrack of the year award with Shadow the Hedgehog (for me at least).

Now if only I could get my hands on that soundtrack....

Sonic Rush has killer tunes.

Getting Naganuma to do the music to Sonic Rush was one of the sickest manouvers I've ever seen. It's freakin amazing.

IMHO I think this is even better than Sonic CD Japan!

Yeah, sorry eb4eva, this isn't even comparable to the Sonic CD incident with Spencer Nielsen.  Personally, I thought the Sonic Rush soundtrack kicked ass too.  Naganuma's unique, funky style works great in the Sonic Games.  I say bring him on for the next.  That is, unless Naofumi Hataya wants to get back on the scene.  Sonic CD Japan is immortal. ^^
