I'm not holding out for this OST. After all, it's done by Ishimoto, and his resume isn't exactly Square Enix's pride and joy. But still, I'd like to give him a chance and see what he can do on his first main role. Won't buy it though.

There's been at least 1 other (lower-profile) Mobile Phone VGM OST cd, but I can't remember the title off the top of my head at the moment....  Ugg, I'll have to go look it up or it'll bug me all day, I think it was on one of the INH Insanity releases.

This is another one, release date Jan 2007, but it looks like iTunes only without physical disc though.

Hey guys. So, there was a cell phone OST relased in the past? Carl, what is the INH Insanity, sorry I don't know! I think it would be cool to try the game, or at least hear the soundtrack. American phones need good games, haha at least mine....

I played Before Crisis a few years ago.  It's really terrible, which is no surprise considering it's trying to do way too much on a platform that can't handle that.

The "Insanity series" is from the company Tanomi, which publishes DVD playthroughs + CD soundtrack combo packs for different games.  The label INH is short for "Insanity Naked Hunter" which is aptly named, given the insane prices you pay for these things, heh.

Track 15 from the Mushihimesama CD, "Princess Reko's Adventure - Gaiden BGM-a <for Mobile>" is from a cell phone game too, I think. Or a cell phone... something or other.

No, I never got to play Dirge, but the reviews and the soundtrack have given me plenty of reason not to worry about it.

Oh, man... agreed. I ended up using just a couple of the ME sounds for basic things like alarm and text message alert. That's pretty cool. Otherwise my ringtone right now is a Cake song. (No Phone, heh. Appropriate.)
