"Last summer, a man launched a class-action lawsuit against Sony Computer Entertainment, alleging that the company misled consumers by claiming Killzone: Shadow Fall's multiplayer mode featured 1080p graphics. He was looking to recover damages for the group to the tune of $5 million.

Now, according to Courthouse News, a judge has dismissed the case "with prejudice," which basically means permanently. "

But, how is this guy ever going to get out of his parent's basement? sad
It's just so unfair for him to have to work when he should be at home playing games all day! Cruel world...

A class action for this is overkill, consumers should vote with their wallet and not buy a product when they feel that they're lied to about it.

but maybe,, he turned it on and after 30 seconds was so pissed off that he put it back in the box and called his lawyer.

as judge judy would say 'you ate the streak, you didn't send it back,'

I believe that to have standing to file a lawsuit, you need to have suffered damages.  It's possible he needed to own a copy of the game to participate in the lawsuit.
