Powered Up comes out next week, with the promise of regular downloadable extras in the upcoming weeks, including playable Roll and Protoman. Now, I don't have a PSP, but I would like those extras for when I do. Would it be possible to DL said bonuses using my PC and later upload them to a PSP at some unknown future date? Or is a PSP necessary to even be able to DL?

I don't own a PSP or the game myself, but Rockman Perfect Memories has a section offering downloadable content, and a method of porting it to your PSP should you lack wi-fi connectivity. I can't guarantee the downloads will work with the European version... but wait, you're in the United States, yes?   (your bio says you're in Mass) If so, Powered Up came out this past week and is already in stores.

I have MMPU, and the amount of downloadable content is ridiculous. I've already downloaded all of the "official" special content, which includes:

- Roll as playable character (original and MM8 outfit)
- Original Fire/Elec/Gutsman level packs for Construction mode
- Gamespy office stage from Gamespy ("Join MegaMan on a deadly trip to the GameSpy offices deep within the bowels of the earth."
- "Ultimate" Oilman stage (from Capcom)

And that's not even scraping the surface of the user-created levels (at least half of which are worth checking out, so far at least). I'm addicted to downloading levels I'm never going to finish playing. Just in case you have any doubts if it's worth the trouble to grab the extra stuff, it is. If you can't do it through the alternate method, you should check out a wifi hotspot and grab as much as you can!

Also, Protoman is earned; you have to beat all 100 Challenges to unlock him. No wifi necessary.

Zane's right; the downloadable content is awesome. With GameSpy's stage including its own custom graphic in the stage (their logo), I wonder how long it'll take for users to figure out how to incorporate their own graphics in construction mode.

Even without the downloadable content, the game is a gem, with lots of replay value. For me, it's the killer app for the PSP (although not killer enough for me to fork out $250+ yet).
