He talks briefly about some of his equipment and you get some quick glances of some of his studio, which is actually his basement.  The feeble, meek mannered interviewers, however, nearly destroy the interview: http://www.1up.com/do/feature?pager.off … Id=3163748

Very nice.  Sakimoto seems like such a mild personality compared to so many other composers I've seen.  Maybe the fact that he gets to work at home gives him a certian level of comfortability.  I thought it was very interesting, and I really like how they prefaced the last question with, "I know a lot of composers don't like this question."

Sakimoto does have a calm personality.  He was at Otakon in 2007, so at both his autograph signings and stage interview, he speaks in a mild manner.   He really does not make himself stand out.  It looks like his music does the talking for him.

He seems very "grassroots" in the fact that he does everything at home.  The samples that they picked were alright, but I don't think they showcase the man's potential.  Maybe he asked that only those be picked?
