It's been confirmed and shown that Takahiro 'T.J' Yagi has left (technically) the oldest VGM publisher in history. Yagi was one of the brainchildren of the record label, serving as producer, director and assistant director to countless Scitron Discs albums and a few Happinet albums since the early 1990's. He leaves Happinet today on the 31st of October. May he find a good new job.

My suspision is confirmed, that Scitron was killed when it got bought out, and the few people that were able to ride through the transition to Happinet are now leaving it.

Kahori bumped into T.J! Yagi recently, and he expressed sorrow about Scitron's demise as well, so it's not hard to see that the new scenario wasn't working out.

Quick fact: he's also a world champion Tetris player!

Good luck Takahiro-san, wherever you end up...

Thought I'd bump this thread with the good news that Yagi is now producer of the media devision at Super Sweep (Shinji Hosoe's company).

Sweet, good to hear that.  Nice move by Hosoe!
It'd be a loss if he wasn't able to continue working at a vgm related company.
