Yes, definitely extremely tempting, and very affordable to boot.
I'll probably be picking this up sometime in the near future.

I already own all three games in their original state (except MGS2 and 3, which I have the Substance/Subsistence versions). I see no reason to buy this . . .

I saw on Destructoid or Kotaku or something that someone from Konami USA was checking with retailers about bringing the package stateside.

I don't care for Metal Gear; I'd love a complete collection of Castlevania like this though.

The biggest problem I see there is that it was easy for them to do a Metal Gear collection since all the games are playable on one system without altering them in any way.  These are just repackagings.  For Castlevania they'd obviously have to do ports so as not to have a box full of random old console cartridges and CDs.  That would require a heck of a lot more effort on the part of Konami.

Ummm...are you aware that the old MSX Metal Gear 1 & 2 are in there as well? I'm pretty sure those are ports.
And there's the PSP game as well so you can't all play them on the same console either.
