Okay, seriously, I must be the only one who likes "Song of Myself" on the new Nightwish album. Every review I read bashes this thing. I'll admit that a lyric like "an old man gets naked and kisses a model doll in his attic" isn't going to win you any new fans but I like the general direction this track takes despite half of it being a monologue/poem.

I listened to the album once and didn't hear anything I liked. That's a first for me and Nightwish.

Why does Capcom/Suleputer hate fighting game soundtracks so much? The Super Street Fighter IV, SSF4 Arcade Edition, and Street Fighter x Tekken Soundtracks are only available with purchase of the Japanese LE games while they happily publish separate OSTs for pretty much everything else. Sigh.

so apparently the drug WARFARIN is really a blood thinner and not a klingon repellant...

As much as I like the album I actually agree with you - I didn't hear anything too great on my first listen either. But I'm kind of "broken" when comes to listening - I usually only hear a mass of instrumentation when I listen to anything on the first try; everything comes off as a jumble. I have to listen to albums multiple times before I "get" them and things even become coherent.

I really hate this in the general sense but in the long run I think it's better than immediately liking something. In having to "work" and decipher what I'm hearing the longevity of the experience appears to be extended. Well, that’s what it seems like since this whole trend started.

I don’t know if anyone else runs into same thing when listening but it's simply there.

You know, I've always wondered... why would anyone buy a floor model TV? I mean you'd have no idea how many hours it's been used... that can't really be worth 10~20% off can it?

Edit:

Also, I'm always baffled by people who buy TVs and have to abandon the box to get in their car that fifteen sizes to small. You kind of need the box to return the thing... I wouldn't get rid of that box!

Wouldn't depend on the model I guess, if it's a new model then the hours can't be so bad. And doesn't some tvs have certain time they need to be break in before they're in their optimal shape?

Return it to where, warranty? On that case you're gonna need to box, but otherwise nope, and it will just eat storage space you could be using for better things.

And I so much hate when I need to scan something and my scanner ain't big enough, and internet doesn't provide scans good enough for my taste. Thankfully scanning in bits and some photoshop magic does help a bit, but still, so bloody irritating. If I would have a big scanner, I could even scan Cyberorg OST.

Have you ever encountered an error in the game that hides something good?

I've been grinding for Bloody Rings in The 4 Heroes of Light which have a measly drop rate of 0.8. The description given by the game is "10% chance of abosrbing HP in a normal attack." A 10% chance really isn't that great of a chance when you get right down to it and seems rather sucky. However, the description is completely wrong. In reality, you actually get 10% of the damage you inflict back each time, which is really sweet. Now I see why the drop rate is so low, it's a pretty decent accessory! Definately going to use them in normal encounters; the elemental/status defense capes are better for boss battles.

You know, facebook and my mother are kind of annoying combination.

My aunt's family (who are about as perfect as the cast from Full House and just about as nauseating) posts everything on there; hell, I'm surprised they don't tell the world when they've had a healthy bowel movement.

Anyway, my mother really doesn't like her sister's family but feels the constant need to read their freaking page. Uh, hello, that's what self absorbed people who have the constant desire to show off the newest thing they've purchased want you to do. I've made it clear - many times in fact - that I don't really care to receive "updates" on these people. Really, I don't f---ing care.

So anyway, my mom told me my cousin bought his daughter a car. Again, I don't see why I should care. These are the same people that didn't give a damn when I bought my first car; they were to busy showing off their new conversion van they bought to “cart the grandkids around.” Yeah, it's like the ten millionth car you've purchased over the years... geez, tell someone else, they might be impressed.

it was alleged that the Cookie Crook got fired from Cookie Crisp cereal due to the bad publicity from glorifying stealing. this is absolutely false,,
he simply discovered that the real money wasn't to be made with simple petty theft, so he has now moved on to white-collar crimes.
look for his debut on boxes of Ponzi Puffs this summer....

On my way to work this morning I saw a women hit a meter maid in a crosswalk with a car. Hitting a pedestrian would be bad enough... but a meter maid? Ouch!

Reminds me of my friend and something my dad said... my friend hit a pedestrian and was sued but as my father would say it's not worth suing people that have nothing.

Also, a customer today asked me if my store hired felons. At first I thought it was a joke and I almost laughed. Good thing I didn't... it wasn't.

Well, society should give second chance to them, depending on what was the crime at first place. Sure if it's repeat offender, then they're probably better off somewhere else. But then, how US treats their prisoners and how the prisons are, it seems that it's somewhat hard to get back on the track after visiting one.

And I find it funny how US Gamestop's are the root of evil in eyes of gamers around the net, and Gamestops around the globe aren't. I wonder what's with that.

I could go into this but I won't... there are enough fragments of my hate for the chain in the various threads on this board already.

You're going to identify two things about your content. The first is to identify the major problem or pain that your content will help the recipient avoid? The second is to identify the most compelling benefits about yourReal Estate Trainingcontent to the recipient. So, pain avoidance and benefits are your headline's focus. The interesting thing about headlines is that pain avoidance is actually more enticing to people than benefits.

You know, I really like the latest season of Hey Arnold! that came out (especially the Halloween episode) but it recently struck me how BAD the opening theme for the show is. It's actually very annoying....

Political Correctness.

The next thing people will contend to be racist, is how the cartoon caricature of Uncle Sam is a white guy. Because he's supposed to be a symbol of the entire American nation. And there's more than just white people who live here anymore.

The next thing that people will contend, is how it's Uncle Sam, and not Aunt Sam - and that's sexist -  nevermind that Aunt Sam (Samantha?) would be A.S., not U.S.

I'm just supposing.

Political Correctness.

Not a fan.
