Everybody had run into an item they have an interest. Sometimes, however, we run into an item so obscenely priced it surprises you and immediately turns you off. What are these items for you?

A few of mine:

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne
http://video-games.shop.ebay.com/i.html … m270.l1313

- I knew this game didn't exactly grow on trees, but yeeesh! I think I'll live with just having the disc.

Twister Original Score

- Like the score, but again I'll live.

Also, any idiot buying and selling $400~$500 Final Fantasy VII blackboarders.

Wow, I have a super-rare HTF Playstation game sitting on my shelf. NICE! I remember there was not a large supply of the game released and it was only like $30 when it came out...Then Megaman Legends 2 came out later with even LESS fanfare!

Suikoden II. I didn't care for the first one very much, and the response I almost always get is along the lines of, 'You gotta play the second one, it's SO MUCH BETTER.' Perhaps it is. But I'm not going to plop down this kind of money on a secondhand promise of an improved sequel.

All the things mentioned in this thread can be easily found and downloaded off of the 'net. Just sayin'...

Obviously, but if you're a collector a DL probably isn't what you're looking for. Still, most (sane) collectors have to draw the line at some point, $100+ for a complete MotB is way over mine.

Edit: Additionally, I'd like to know what you CAN'T find on the internet? Yellow cake uranium?
