Just discovered this arranged Policenauts album called "Policenauts F/N"  which features: Motoaki Furukawa
Solo Guitar on the Right Side

Koichi Namiki
Solo Guitar on the Left Side

Anyone here heard of or have this disc?  The tracks are up on youtube and are great!  Damn I love Furukawa's playing!  I see one copy on ebay going for 149.99!  I want this disc!

Oh yeah. Policenauts F/N was great, and Motoaki Furukawa is great, if you want jazz fusion action; I got introduced to the guy by a couple of tracks he did for a Metal Gear Arrange album. Too bad he doesn't have a very wide discography...well, maybe that's something I need to research more.

Heard of and have!  Excellent disc, I don't blame you one bit for wanting it.  It's one of those arrange albums that's top notch from start to finish.  I highly recommend that you pick it up. wink

His arrangements on the Metal Gear Red Disc are great. I didn't like F/N so much overall unfortunately...though it has a few outstanding tracks (track 1 being the obvious one).

Friggin' love the opening track. There's a Korean guitarist who covers this very track ... looks like he pulled down his own YouTube account? (he's probably on niconico douga now).

But yeah, awesome album.

Policenauts F/N has been a favorite of mine now for years. Theme from News Order and Girls particularly nail the Tokimemo fusion style Furukawa and Namiki are so good at (they also teamed up on Tokimeki Memorial pro-fusion). And yes, the opener is so classic Furukawa and energetic...

For an album with just two guitars and some bass, it kicks major ass. Only wish these guys teamed up for more projects...

Oh yes!  Tokimeki Memorial Pro-Fusion is awesome.  The track FANCY SHOP kicks some SERIOUS butt.  Those guitar solos in that track!  Incredible!

My all time favorite of Furukawa's stuff has to be the Salamander Pro-Fusion album!  It is probably my number 1 favorite arranged album i've ever heard!  I can say I am a proud owner of a copy of that which I bought BRAND NEW at THE-PLACE back in 1998 or so!  Remember that site!? smile

I've got to hear his arrangements on that Metal Gear arranged album.  Never heard any of that!

I first heard Policenauts F/N almost a decade ago. There is really nothing wrong with that album.

i love Policenauts music, even though i couldn't embrace F/N as much as the other arrangements, or the OST. i prefer MIDI Power Pro 3 Policenauts, the opening track OLD L.A. 2040 kicks ass!
