All of those can be found on Amazon.co.jp. Just search using the catalog number and you should be able to find them. It's quite easy to order from them as well, but they only do Express shipping overseas.

I think the possible best thing we can do is to encourage SuperSweep to let CD Japan and Play-Asia to stock their soundtracks. I talked with Hosoe and he seemed to be interested in dealing with Play-Asia.

Thanks for the responses thus far, it's nice to see people participating. smile  I've moved the poll results date back a couple days through the weekend so I can polish up the code, so those of you who would like to submit your picks or revise your current ones feel free to do so.  Am planning to add Monster Hunter 3 and The Crystal Bearers to my own list.

1. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles The Crystal Bearers Original Soundtrack
2. Monster Hunter 3 Original Soundtrack

I am in definite agreement with those two; they definitely deserve my titles for being the best game scores of 2009.  And Adam, is it OK if I post the first review for these two?  I LOOOOOOVE these scores enough to give them a review.

Shattered Memories' score is amazing, too; so is the game, if you haven't picked it up, I suggest you do so; it's one of the better 3rd party games on the Wii, and if Crystal Bearers doesn't do everything perfectly, it's leaps and bounds above Dragon Quest Swords by far.  The soundtracks for both are, of course, phenomenal.

Sure.  Actually I've been working on my own reviews for both titles over the past week, but second opinions are always welcome. smile

Finally updated the code for the poll system and got the results posted.  My apologies for the delay!  The updated tallying code takes into account not just how many people voted for an item but how highly they ranked it as well, so I think it's a good adjustment. smile

I find the results interesting (in my strange world), largely because of how it mirrors 'regular' music. I typically don't like music that is regarded as 'the best'. In this case, SF IV ranked #1 and I don't like it. (Of course, I like stuff I regard as 'the best'. That would be a rare case indeed of someone not enjoying music they considered 'the best'. This might be possible amongst split personalities.)

With you on that one.
I don't like SFIV either.
Like, at all.

Shatter is amazing though, did you try that one?

Not yet. But soon.

I'm personally a bit bewildered that MadWorld placed higher on the list than Planetary Pieces, especially since I would have put its soundtrack on that other kind of year-end ranking.

Sami Feb 12, 2010

I really liked the SFIV OST when it came out but haven't listened to it in a long time. Might have burned out on it.
