Just a quick question for those with Live Gold experience. If you used a prepaid card, does your subscription end on exactly so-and-so-months to the date? Say a card was redeemed on 11/13/2008 - would that mean a three month subscription would end on 2/13/2009, or would it expire on the last day of February?

It would expire on the date exactly one month later.
This is obvious, because otherwise people would be getting their monthly subscriptions on january 1st to expire on february 28th and basically using it for 2 months.

Ah, good point. Just wanted to make sure, since the Manage Your Subscriptions part of my account simply labels expiration as 2/2009. Guess they don't follow the credit card expiration line of thinking. :p Thanks!

So, it looks like the next NXE Dashboard update is on the way. Should be available to everyone on August 11th, but those who got in on the preview beta are already reporting notable performance boosts. First, the dashboard itself is speedier to navigate through; the Friends list, for example, doesn't take nearly as long to load up as before. Second, the complete installs for a number of games actually take up LESS HDD space, and several games have shown even greater improvement in load times as a result:
