Just wanted to add something about echocrome I was not aware of until now.  Apparently the PS3 and PSP versions contain completely different levels (each has 56).  I wonder if this means that we'll be seeing an "echocrome 1.5" for both systems that contains the missing levels so that we have to pay $10 twice.  If anyone picks up the PS3 version, I'd be interested in knowing if there's anything in there that requires a PS3 to power.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, you should be able to just pay $20 and get access to both versions, each containing all the levels with some sort of shared save system so you could play on PS3, move your save to PSP, and continue on the road.  Or is that what remote play is for?  All the multi-media features of the PS3 and PSP leave me confused sometimes.

Up until backwards compatibility, I was the kind of guy who liquidated my entire inventory every time a new system came out, thinking that all the new games would be better than the old, and I'd never want to see them again. The whole notion went in the crapper with the N64, with only a handful exceptions that it offered (Mario, Starfox, Kirby, Goemon, Zelda)

Does the Wii VC offer

Mystical Ninja (64)
Secret of Mana
Super Mario RPG

yet?

I just replayed Super Mario RPG in the beginning of Summer (because I just couldn't wait any longer for the TBA VC release), but I still have plans to buy it as it was one of the games I was awaiting the most. My impression is the same as it was back in 1995 -- an excellent, fun game, possibly one of the greatest games I've played.

At one point, my VC was getting more milage than the Wii software itself. Now it seems my girlfriend plays it more than I do (mostly it's because I was planning on getting No More Heroes but I refuse to play until I reassemble my sound config.).

Haven't downloaded VC games since the release of WiiWare. Also, space is running out, and the games I would like are mostly TG CD games.

I love the game, but I don't have time to play through it again, so I'm afraid I'll have to pass.
