Some good matches Angela!  It should be apparent that I don't know what I'm doing. lol.

Despite that, I think you're a couple of leagues ahead of me, given your 6-3 victory. :)  This was actually the first time I took the game online, and despite the sluggish intro just before battles, the experience on my end was silky-smooth.  They really did a great job with the netcode.

But yeah, I got an awfully good bruising from ya.  Noel in your hands was devastating, and I was genuinely stunned at how powerful Iron Tager is; I glanced up my life bar at the half way mark, you smacked me around a couple of times, and the next thing I knew, I was dead on the floor. x_x

Angela,

Just a warning. 100% Complete for a character in story mode does not earn you Astral Finishes. You have to beat Arcade mode with that character. Trust me. I 100% completed Arakune and was not rewarded with an Astral Finish (it unlocks an interview with the voice actor in Japan). The only way to unlock Astral Finishes, that I've discovered, is beating Arcade mode with the character.

So uh...to get 100% completion in story mode, do you have to lose at certain points? I've gotten to 92% with Rachel, and I've done all conceivable paths.

You have to lose and beat certain characters with a Distortion Finish.

The first time I beat Litchi with Noel, I didn't use one. The second time around I did and got a different CG.

Here's my interview with Daisuke Ishiwatari and Toshimichi Mori. Both of them seemed like laid back guys, so it was fun talking to them.

Beat certain characters w/ distortion finish to unlock diff paths or get diff scenes. Oy, this is going to get complicated. I can't remember for most things I've done whether or not I beat them w/ distortion finish. I'm gonna need a walkthrough to get 100% with most characters. Thanks for the help.

ALSO...holy crap, interview with creator and composer of GG/BB? That's awesome, my friend. I'm gonna try to get the word out on that. Very cool.

Ha, I think this will be one of the last times I do this well.  If you want to feel better, let's jump on SSF2HD and see how well I fare.  big_smile

My octagonal gate arrived yesterday and I was able to install it no problem.  HOLY CRAP does that thing make a difference!  Now I can actually start playing the game! lol

Nice, glad the swap-out went off without a hitch.

Truthfully, I'm not sure how much further I'd like to invest in BlazBlue.  At this point, I've gone through the story and arcade modes a number of times, and tried out a fair amount of online matches, but I'm just not feeling the gameplay as much as I thought I would.  It's a wonderfully polished game, jam-packed with content, and graced with a fabulous netcode..... but my preference has always been in the technical, more ground-based fighter.

You considering Street Fighter IV at all, Dustin?  :)

Yes, and by that I mean I'm waiting for the collector's edition on Goozex.  As it turns out, I'm 9th in line and no one's trading it, so I'll be waiting awhile.  Unless, of course, I can get the CE for dirt-cheap.

I'll be getting that Tekken 6 bundle when it comes out (already got $58 down on it at GS).
