Wasn't the God Hand the item that Harman's rival used in Killer 7?  I'm not saying there's any relation here, but you never know.

Edit: Here's a link to IGN's info on the game: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/701/701374p1.html

Godhand was also a boss in Shadow Hearts 2, but that's unreleated  smile

Didn't Tifa use a God Hand in FFVII? And wasn't it an airship password in FFX?

Dais Apr 12, 2006

Don't forget that it was one of the character classes for the best character in Seiken Densetsu 3!

"Godhands" was the final workshop in Vagrant Story.

And it is Rikku's ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy X, it's a popular term in Japanese video games, a little less than Masamune.

"Godhand" was also a character in Square's own Ehrgiez fighting game.

Crash Apr 13, 2006

The God's Hand is also the second-best fist weapon in Disgaea.

That's how you can change the impression of the name from "wow, what a cool name" into "what an overused name"... <_<

And very effectively at that.

Although overuse doesn't always stop their usage, as Chimeras and Minotaurs and such still get included in a lot of games...

Datschge Apr 14, 2006

I just checked gamefaqs, according to their database the last time Chimera and Minotaur had been titles of games was in early/mid 1980's so they don't compare. =P

Carl Apr 14, 2006

Ahh, I was only thinking within the games, forgot that this thread started because of using it in the TITLE as well, you're right.
