Figured I would post this before E3 comes along and takes all the fun out of the speculation big_smile  So, what continuations of past games - Nintendo or not - would you like to see on Revolution/Wii?  Obviously these would be games that would take advantage of the new controller and not just improved graphics.  Let's stick with ones that have yet to be confirmed.  The ones that stand out for me are...

Nights: Been waiting for a sequel for this since spending hours upon hours with the original on Saturn.  Whisking and looping Nights along with the remote controller sounds like damn good fun.

Panzer Dragoon Trilogy: The new controller is perfectly suited for PD.  Steer the dragon with the analog controller while aiming and firing with the remote.  Add some new enemy patterns to PD1 and Zwei and make Azel an action RPG and you've got a sufficently new experience from the originals.

Castlevania: Using the remote for weapon control seems like an ideal way to finally make a 3D version that lives up to the series' standards.

More seriously, any given side-scrolling beat-em-up featuring, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, might work with the new controller. I'm sure they'll do another Wario Ware game based around the controller. Other than that, I don't think I can think of anything that hasn't already been thought of.

Although the 3D Castlevania game using the controller as a whip is a great idea I hope to see become a reality... I also have a strong (perhaps foolish) desire to see a 2D Castlevania on the Wii. I always thought that if the main reason we didn't get another 2D Consolevania was because Sony said no, that Nintendo was in prime position to say "we'd gladly welcome a 2D Consolevania!" SoTN gameplay with hot high-res sprites would be heaven to me.

I suppose it would be in bad taste for me to say that I'd murder my Grandmother to see a sequel, or at least a remake, of NiGHTS into Dreams for Wii (I still don't get this retarded name change). Or for any system, really.

How about Jet Force Gemini? Okay, I don't see it working specifically well on Rev, er, Wii's controller, but I've been pining for a sequel for the longest time. Blowing up Tribals was so much fun.

Star Wars lightsaber game.  Even if the game is garbage, if the lightsaber controls work, it probably would sell reasonably well.

A new mad maestro game using the control as a conductor's baton.

Boat game where you use the control like a paddle.

Punch-Out!!, of course.  The controllers seem perfectly apt for some great right hook, left hook, body-blow, body-blow action.

In fact, if they were to release a trilogy collection of the NES Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, the arcade original, and the SNES Super Punch-Out, configured to the new control scheme, I'd be Wii-bound in a heartbeat. :)

Honestly, I'd rather see all-new games rather than old series retrofitted to the new control scheme.

One assumes it's pretty likley that at least the NES original will be on the virtual console.

I think this would be an interesting two-controller game.  One controller for each glove.

I agree with a lot of what's been said already, and would add Baten Kaitos to the list. I'd like to see the series continue on the Wii.
