I'd recommend getting one with a TB because at this point 500GB is a (expletive) joke. It really is and the "budget" last gen consoles with lower that 500GB are an even bigger joke cause you're not going to save money in the end.

Do PS4 games just take up a ton of space? I still have a 60 gig PS3 and I seem to have plenty of space. I don't download and watch films/shows on my playstation, so I don't know how much space I would need just for games? I did hear that the new TB PS4 uses the old CPU which is crappy neutral

The reason I give the last gen "budget" consoles so much grief is the later gen games almost always require a huge hard drive install and using a flash drive to make up for not having the space doesn't work with these titles.

I have a 60 GB PS3 myself and I'll admit I've never had an issue with space... but I've only ever played like three games on the console and they were early gen ones that don't have big installs. I also don't use Netflicks...

...however, if I was more serious about gaming and streaming, yes, I'd would shell out for more capacity on the HD without thought.

I'm a digital game hoarder, and I can say with easy certainty that the stock 500GB HDD in the PS4 is too damn small. Your best bet is to buy a 500GB PS4 as cheap as you can find it and then replace the stock HDD with a 2TB one (should be less than $100). Make sure you buy one that is compatible with the PS4 (read reviews on Amazon and elsewhere). The procedure to replace the drive has many steps, but is actually pretty easy. I have a 1.5TB one in my PS4 and I've already used around 300GB with only five AAA games and a bunch of indie games.

I'm wondering if the new PS4 Limited Edition Star Wars bundle is worth it? I'm not interested in Battle Front so I can sell that. I think the PS4 looks fine with or without Vader on it smile
However, I understand this is the latest CPU and is thus quieter than earlier versions. It's 500 Gig, but I only purchase disk games, so I can always delete, and I tend to only play a few games with no downloads and I don't download movies or music either.
