Has anyone seen Gamestop's latest plan to get you to buy the latest game at their store?

I'm sorry, but if retailers start getting exclusive chunks of actual "gameplay" instead of the lame skins and stuff they have now I'm just going to quit buying the games. Sorry, won't support this at all.

Also, you have to love how Gamestop COMPLETELY misses the point of why people are unhappy. No one thinks you're going to mess with the creative process... what we're worried about is being locked out of damn content if we don't bow down to your mightiness.

Damn it... I miss the days back when I got the entire game when I bought the stupid disc.

That's the only reason I've bought anything from them in the past several years.  It sucks, but that's the only way they can coerce us holdouts to shop with them.

Game industry has changed from those days, for better and worse. Triple A games do cost more to make thus needing the DLC sales etc., sad shit but it is what it is. And I laugh when people complain about day 1 DLC, usually the games have gone gold way before the release date, thus adding new stuff needs to come with DLC. Though, DLC keys can suck if they open just stuff from the disc, looking at ya Capcom.

I wonder how long the industry can survive with this triple A madness, and when they're gonna start looking into indies and perhaps downsizing a bit. Perhaps doing Double A games with one third of the costs gone. Or plan using the money better, no game needs 1000 member crew doing them, Ubi. Even if it's fun game like Assassin's Creed.
