Ive always loved streets of rage music so getting my hands on this rather rare 1994 release from Japan was something big for me, plus I got it much cheaper than what i've seen them go for on ebay:D

But ive noticed that the music quality in this version is somewhat less quality and the equalization of the tracks dont seem to be on the same level compared to the music released in Yuzo Koshiro Best Collection Vol 2.

Has anyone else given both CD's a listen and noticed anything different, or is it just me?

Shit. I don't really have a problem with the Bare Knuckle 3 album like a lot of folks do. So this is a possible better remaster?

I still don't own BKIII, but BKII is clearly different. The original printing sounds kind of... toned down, like too much bass. The Yuzo Koshiro Collection one sounds more balanced and slightly louder and clearer. So I guess we can safely assume that it's quite likely the same for the rest
