SUPER excited to see this is happening - Yooka Laylee is getting a purchasable soundtrack release on physical CD and on vinyl (I was really worried the soundtrack would ONLY be available to people who had the money to support the upper tiers of the kickstarter).  The ost is the reunion of Rare composers Grant Kirkhope (Banjo Kazooie), Steve Burke (Kameo), and David Wise (DKC), and the samples so far sound reeeeeally good.  Love that retro-sounding track of Burke's in the set of four samples on the website (linking below).

VGMDB also lists a Varese Sarabande CD release, which I'm not sure is the same as this one?  Regardless, I am so pumped to get to play this game and hear more classic Rare-sounding music after all this time!!

Not to hijack your thread, but I don't keep tabs on kick-starter projects unless they go totally awry. I'm assuming with the soundtrack being released the game is near completion? I never played the Banjo games but I hope the game is good so fans can get their fix.

Not just near, but I believe they've gone gold!  The game is out on April 11 for most platforms, though the Switch version is likely to take a while longer.  Holding out for the possibility of a physical release of that version.  The game doesn't look AMAZINGLY AWESOME SUPER GRAPHICAL SHOWCASE AAA like I'm sure many wish it would be, but to me it looks quite nice and a throwback to a genre of games that really gets almost no representation these days.

I think they're the same release, as Laced seems to be sister company to Varese Sarabande, or something like that. I remember when I ordered that Symphonic Fantasies/Final Symphony, it did show up under Varese Sarabande's name under Paypal

And at least No Man's Sky soundtrack seems to be manufactured by Varese and licensed by Laced.
