For anyone curious enough to check it out, the author has released an "alpha unstable" version of it.  It only works with DS games right now, but it's worth a look, I suppose. :)

Yeah, sweet.
Now all I need is a DLS to SF2 converter, and I'm set for life. smile

Why convert it to SF2?  Just use it as is, as DLS.  VSampler can load DLS files.

Yeah, but XMPlay's MIDI plugin supports only SF2 (for now at least). smile

Feed it a DS ROM and see. :)

I'm not sure how to phrase it, but....about how accurate is this in reproducing how it would sound on an actual DS?

Nice program.....interface could use a bit of work, though tongue

I'm using it to listen to Trace Memory right now.
I may have to share this...

Prolly as much as SPC2IT, maybe a bit more (as it's MIDI->SSEQ->MIDI conversion chain, not MIDI->SPC->IT).
