Can anyone recommend me a yahoo JPN middleman? Or a good service? Thanks upfront!

I often use shoppingmalljapan.com

It's not cheap but it allows you to bid realtime on Y!J.

Only ever use Jerold.  jgllama ______--> gmail.com (his address changed)

I'm always losing his email address. But yeah, Jerold is def the most cost-effective choice. He's very pro-importer. It's like he cares!

But you have to get the auction info to him and then he bids manually. That's pretty much the only difference ... you're handling things by email instead of by webform.

That's not true, for most of the things I use him for I just ask him for an item and he tells me how much it is. It is obviously not for super rare hard to find items. For example, just this month I asked him to get me a Super Mario Kart 8 OST and he said they're running about 6500Y or so, I said that's fine and he ends up finding one and it was only 4500Y. I've done that with most of the Nintendo releases, like A Link Between Worlds, etc.

I've also asked him for hard to find things because I haven't been able to find things with my own resources. Like I asked him for the Princess Tutu Vol 1-3 DVDs that came with the OST pack-in but that I was only interested if they had the pack-in. He found them for me, told me how much and I paid him

Granted this may not be an option for anyone looking for a deal or has concerns about cost but it doesn't bother me. I love his service and what he offers so  willing to pay a little more for it.

Oh yes, you're right, he WILL find the items for you and you give a bid limit. I had forgotten that. Last few items I got from him, I found the auctions and sent him URLs. But I didn't have to do that I suppose.

Nonetheless ... comparing shoppingmalljapan's fees and Jerold's fees, I think he is still generally giving the better deal.
