... and I guess that's it.

Angela Mar 1, 2007

Thw two must haves for me this month are Virtua Tennis 3 (PSP) and Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits (DS).  I'm considering God of War 2 and Burnout Dominator, but I'm more likely to sit out on the launch and wait for the inevitable Greatest Hits releases.  I have high hopes for After Burner: Black Falcon.... it won't be able to touch Climax, of course, but I've been so AB-deprived, I'll take anything I can get.

Mitsuda's Armodyne sounds full of promise, while Casino Royale: 2 Disc Special Edition and Happy Feet round out the DVDs.

Red HamsterX Mar 1, 2007 (edited Mar 2, 2007)

Ramza Mar 2, 2007 (edited Mar 2, 2007)

The only thing I'm DEFINITELY getting (preordered already) is the FFXI Soundtrack Box.

Pretty much all the other CDs mentioned, I'm also interested in them. Especially Atelier Lise.

No game purchases that I can think of.

Ramza

PS - Also, I'm interested in three that no one mentioned yet:

1) Dragon Shadow Spell OST
2) Shining Force EXA OST
3) Emil Chronicle Online OST Vol.2

Jodo Kast Mar 2, 2007

I'm finally buying some more game music:

Akumajou Dracula: Gallery of Labyrinth
Ys Origin
...and Xanadu Next (which I should've got a long time ago)

I'm not sure if I'm getting any DVDs or not.

I did just buy a bunch of Robert Sheckley books, but those came out in the 50s and 60s. Well, they're new to me. I doubt many of you have heard of him but one of his novels (Immortality, Inc.) became the movie "Freejack". His short stories have a lot of humor, which is hard to find in science fiction.

GoldfishX Mar 2, 2007

Very odd month for CD releases...Lot's of ones that have potential, but a lot of wild cards out there. This is one of the more odd looking release schedules I've seen.

Ones I'm interested in getting:
Sonic and Secret Rings (Jun!)
Atelier Lise (not sure about the premium pack yet...I can probably live without the GBA and Wonderswan music)
Dragon Shadow Spell (from the same people as the Summon Night games)
Musou Orochi OST (can it top the great Sangoku Musou BB OST? I hope Yasumasa Sato has a say in this one)
Ys Origin (not the next great Falcom OST, but still effective and worth having)

Ones that I'm curious about:
Falcom Live
Armodyne
Arcana Heart OST
Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary
murmur
Sekaiju no Meikyuu Original Soundtrack (Yuzo Koshiro)

longhairmike Mar 2, 2007

jb Mar 2, 2007

Kingdom Hearts Box
FF11 Box
Armodyne
Luminous Arc

and I'm tempted to pick up the new Dragon Quest I SS but for fucks sake stop taunting me with re-re-re-re-releases with completely new shit. Orchestra arrangements of the SE's? WHY?! WHYYY?!

Qui-Gon Joe Mar 2, 2007

Whaaaaaaaaaaat!?  Where the heck did this Murmur thing come from!?

Amazingu Mar 3, 2007

This month marks the rare occasion that I will actually (probably) buy some games new on the day of release, instead of waiting for the price to drop.

And they are:

Sonic and the Secret Rings
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix

Especially the latter has me PSYCHED.

Carl Mar 20, 2007

I went a "little bit" crazy this month, and bought like $400 worth of stuff.....
(.... OK, I went *BIG TIME* crazy this month...)

From Amazon:
Luminous Arc
Armordyne
Sekaiju no Meikyuu
Jill's Project DVD Live

From Playasia:
Ys Origin PC Game
Makaimura Ongakutaizen Box

From Cocoebiz:
Okami Piano Arrange
Monster World Complete Collection
Falcom Live 2007
Murmur
Gyakuten Meets Jazz
Senko no Ronde -Carpe Diem-

wow.  I'll be having some sales soon.

GoldfishX Mar 20, 2007

Addendum:

I bought the Captain N boxset (released last month, but it was close enough to be a March release). One of the most satisfying feelings in my existence indulging in this masterpiece.

Also, I've indefinitely dropped Sonic and the Secret Rings OST from my list...Just *yech*. This isn't the Jun Senoue masterpiece it should have been. This is a prime example of you should listen before buying. It's about a step DOWN from Sonic R.

Carl: What exactly is on that Jill Project DVD? Does it have the Bloody Chronicle stuff that's been floating around recently or is it all Falcom?

Angela Mar 20, 2007

First I've heard of Okami Piano Arrange.  Shachimaru's Theme for ivories?  I'm there!

Along with Gyakuten Meets Jazz Soul, I'm also considering DJ MAX Portable 2 (PSP).  I picked up the Borat movie on DVD, which is worth it just for the mock-bootleg style packaging and extra vignettes.

It just arrived, here's the tracklist.  It was a blind purchase so I have no idea what Bloody Chronicle stuff would be, or even what Jill's project is about.
