This is a thread to post about the top 5 vgm tracks of 2013.

1. Yuzo Koshiro - Bout! -Theme of Toki

Glorious battle theme.

2. Yoshimi Kudo - Michi (Stage5) -Arrange-

Big time unexpected intensity.

3. Yuzo Koshiro - A Heart That Can't Be Broken

Really good somber track.

4. Yoshimi Kudo - Taiji (Boss) -Arrange-

Big time unexpected intensity.

5. Heiwa (Name Entry) -Arrange- / Saidaioujou (Ending) -Arrange- / Shiten (menu)

All really good peaceful, a little bit sad tracks. I can't really decide on which one is the best.

I'll try to come up with a list of my own. I just wanted to point out that stage 5 was also arranged by Yoshimi Kudo. Okubo only did stage 2.

Thanks. I edited it.

I'd intended to create a poll for this but never got around to it.  Before 2015 gets here, here are the tracks from 2013 that stood head-and-shoulders above the rest to me:

"You're Not Alone" - Distant Worlds: The Celebration
A lively, uplifting orchestral arrangement for a really nice theme.

"Succubus" - Castlevania ~Lords of Shadow~ Mirror of Fate OST
I usually don't care for horror, survival horror, or anything of the sort, but this piece is so perfectly, wickedly intense. To say nothing of the great vocal and orchestral arrangement.

"Mushroom Kingdom" - Spectrum of Mana
Starts inconspicuously enough but rocks so utterly hard come the second half.

"Fistful of Nickels (Shadow)" - Final Fantasy VI: Balance and Ruin
I raved about this already in the album's thread but it's such an ingenious and surprisingly epic spaghetti-Western'esque arrangement of a great character theme.

These and several others, including some electronic VGM favorites, are on my Top VGM of 2013 mixes on YouTube, which I would be really appreciative if people gave a listen to.
