PS - Looking at DQ I Symphonic Suite...there have been like 10 prints for each SS, but the big question is always whether or not it was a new/unique recording. Do you know whether or not that print is a separate recording or simply a reprint released to commemorate the SFC release of the game?

I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to DQ soundtracks and the different performances they contain. I can find no definite answer to your question in the booklet, but it does say the recording was made on September 5, 1991 and was performed by the London Philharmonic. Since the CD was published in 1994, that's a pretty big gap between the performance and the publishing of the CD. Still, looking at GMR, it seems the older versions of DQ I music were all published before 1991 so, unless there's an album missing there, this is definately a new recording. There's always the chance it was used for later releases though, and in that sense may not be unique.
