It's a common fact that DVD has made it affordable for people to obtain full seasons of their favorite shows, but for every show that makes it to DVD (some that I personally question) some can't seem to break through for various reasons.

What show would you like to see on DVD? Here are mine:

Rocko's Modern Life
I miss the early Nickelodeon days when Rocko, Heffer, Filbert and Spunky clashed with Mr. & Mrs. Bighead, homicidal kitchen appliances, and Flecko the fly. The screech of Dr. Hutchison hook hand across surfaces, the sound of her neck cracking, a ever changing profession and eventual marriage to Filbert always made me laugh. Unfortunately, the show is hardly on and Nick is terrible at releasing things on DVD unless it's Spongebob (I was surprised to see Invader Zim on DVD at all but I think it has a pretty strong cult following.)

TV Funhouse
Don't get this confused with the SNL sketches; this was a separate show on Comedy Central. It lasted one season and from what I've been able to dig up each episode exists on VHS but not on DVD. I still laugh when I think of the Anipals (a group of animal puppets) getting high off of "Christmas Cheer" which they forcefully extract from the spine of the show's overly-chipper host and get addicted to it.

Upright Citizens Brigade Season 2 & 3
Comedy Central released the first season and I immediately snatched it up but the release of the other seasons was based on the sale of the first season which probably didn't do so hot. The concept is hit and miss depending on who is watching but the sketch comedy of the Upright Citizen Brigade in their mission to undermind the status quo through the proliferation of chaos was bizarre enough to me to stand out.

I second Rocko's Modern Life.  That is probably the only Nick show I want (although I inexplicably want to see an episode of Alex Mack).

Above and beyond anything, I want Where On Earth is Carmen Sandiego? on DVD.  It would be nice to get GI Joe complete on DVD too (with a re-release of the movie like The Transformers movie got).  The only Marvel animated series I want is the 1996 X-Men cartoon.

More of The Tick, dang it. I'm sure s1 sold at least well enough for Disney to break even.

I want Reboot, including seasons one and two, which have never seen any sort of official release.

Wow, there's a show I haven't heard anyone bring up in a long time. The sister Annie, Dave the bumbling driver, Vince the obbessive assistant to Mrs. ??? (I can't think her name or the lab Alex's dad worked at - something tron?) and GC161... I even remember bits of the final episode. They don't make 'em like that anymore - damn, now I want to see some episodes as well.

The article was pretty good but I never thought Alex really used her powers selfishly... I'd say "mischievously" is a better way to put it even though she does show off sometimes.

My number one priority is Gargoyles Season 2: Volume 2. I don't care about Season 3, but the second half of season 2 is a must have.

The first season of Carmen is out, but I am wondering what's taking X-Men so long. If they were smart, Disney would've released sets to coincide with the X-Men movies.

I'll snatch up all of Gargoyles out now as soon as Disney announces a date for S2:V2.  Disney isn't smart, which is why X-Men sets aren't out yet.

As for Carmen, I have the first season but Shout! shows no interest in releasing the rest of the show... even though those Mario shows were inexplicaly released in rapid fashion.

Agreed! Gargoyles might just be the best Disney TV series ever (in terms of story and characters, not to mention an awesome soundtrack) and yet Disney appears to be doing NOTHING about releasing the remaining sets. DYD!... Damn you Disney!

Also, I wold love to see a G1 Transformers set, as mentioned X-Men Animated, and Get Smart would be cool too. Also, we need everything ever done by David Attenburough to be released on DVD!

Smurfs, Snorks and Kissyfur. I'll second Gargoyles as well, but they can skip the Goliath Chronicles for all I care. As long as they get the delicious post-Avalon episodes. Also, X-Men animated series...Where the hell is that one?

I'd also like a collection of all the Attitude/Austin-era Monday Night Raws (mid-1997 through mid-1999, roughly). Great time to be a wrestling fan back then.

I third Rocko. Must of been Nick's best series. So bizarre, but brilliant, often outlandish cartoon comedy. "I HAAAAAVE NO SON!", "MEATBALL!"

The short-lived drama "Early Edition." It was wholesome television with fun episode ideas, unlike the disgusting, horrible, unimaginative bile on today's primetime line-ups. Can't pass anything today without a sophomoric sex joke.

Classic stuff

Did they ever...release the Ghostbuster's (i.e the Real Ghostbusters) cartoon?  I really liked that cartoon, even though the animation and artwork was shite,  Great stories.  Were-chicken...the Boogeyman, and a bunch of others..

Yeah, it's just a shame the show's unique brand of humor is hard to sell.

Which reminds me...Disney is doing the same with Goof Troop. Which is really annoying, considering the rest of their shows are getting/have gotten the sweet thinpak treatment.

Gotta assume you mean the 90s Fox one...in which case I agree (though IIRC a long time ago they released a couple invidicual arcs, like the Phoenix one). I'd prefer Spiderman even more though, myself.

Exo Squad

More episodes of Charles in Charge.  The second season is coming out in November, I think, but it took a heck of a long time for that to happen, and I don't have much hope for other seasons.

And they do have a second season of The Tick out, but just like the first season's DVD release, it's missing an episode as well.  And that's just frustrating.

I've been waiting the longest for a Ned & Stacey Second Season set.  I fear it'll never come, considering that the show stopped about three-fourths into the second (and invariably final) season.  But man, I'd love to have those hilarious Muffin Store episodes on disc.

You can keep your Will and Grace.  It's all about Hayden Church, Mr. Belvdirer, and loganberries, baby!

Rocko's Modern Life would be a "maybe" for me.  Although I've thoroughly enjoyed the cartoon, I believe I may have grown out of it. 

My list consists of:

Angry Beavers (spoot!)
Tiny Toons (baby Plucky alone would make those worth the purchase)

Duckman. Duuuuckman, and Duckman.

I fear that Rocko might not have aged well, but I have my hopes.
