- Banpresto announced a PSP port of the popular RPG title Rivieria: Promised Land, the PSP version will have full voice dubbing on all dialogs.

Never played it. But if all the PSP version adds to the table is voice, it doesn't seem like a big enough deal to not just track down the GBA version.

Now now, don't you realize the benefits?  In the middle of the night, no more having to crawl out of bed to use the restroom...

Yeah, but washing the sheets every morning is a pain, not to mention the smell... sad

Erm, ahem, anyway, I've only briefly played Riviera on GBA, but... well, if this get an English release, I'll be picking it up for sure.

Looking at the full size screens the game sprites and backgrounds look simply scaled up using some graphic filter (like super eagle or something), only the occasional character illustrations are in an actual higher resolution.

Yeah, it's confirmed it's just a port with a graphic filter and no new cutscenes or anything.  And wow, those graphics look awful... if I ever want to try this game, I think I'll still be going for the GBA one.
