Thoughts? I would have been interested to hear someone else score the new trilogy (though I'm not sure if Michael Giacchino would have been my pick for the job) but it's hard to complain about Williams returning to compose for his baby.

It was really the only reasonable option. I consider musical consistency quite important and at least Zimmer and his cronies don't get their mittens on it. Giacchino would have been a good second option.
I just hope Williams actually lives to finish the three films...
