It usually sells at auction for about $150, but if I remember correctly, Adol sold one awhile back on eBay for $199 (Buy It Now option).
Dude... super great deal! The most amusing thing is that most of his other cd's are overpriced Worth buying to resell alone...

SO TRUE, on both counts. I also picked up Perfect Selection Gradius Part 2 (KICA-1112) for $39.99 from the same seller, which is not too shabby either, imo (although not nearly as sweet as the Gaiden deal). Ironically, I'm more anxious to hear Perfect Selection Gradius 2 than the Gaiden CD!
So... what is so good about the Gradius Gaiden album, and what are other "good" Gradius albums?
cheers,

The seller has Perfect Selection Gradius (Part 1) done by Nazo Nazo. I have that album, and I think it's pretty good. The music is mostly synthesizer power rock.

I think the prices are ok. Maybe they aren't good for starting bids, but if they close at $40 or less, they are pretty decent prices for OOPs. There are other sellers who sell for higher.
