I got mine yesterday.  ;p

And I haven't gotten mine yet at all.  ;_;

I should be getting mine in on Monday.

I've held off on hearing all samples of it (besides my full experience with both sides of the game, of course), so hopefully I'm in for a treat.

Oh I'd say you are. I've been listening to it constantly since I got it. I love the soft twinkly tracks in particular. Very beautiful.

I just got the Platinum edition of Super Mario Galaxy from a seller in Japan on Ebay.  It will, however, remain closed and sealed in shrink wrapped.  I'm currently adding to my VGM collection and putting everything on display on stands.

No offense, aotearoa, but if you intend to never open it, what's the point in buying it? I understand wanting to keep CDs in mint condition, but music is meant to be listened to, and I don't see how one could get much enjoyment out of simply putting it on a shelf to look at from time to time.

I like to collect and preserve things too, I just never really got the point of buying something for no other reason than to own it, if you're not going to use it as intended.

I suppose it's a good investment if your plan is to simply resell it years down the road, though. If you intend to keep it forever, though, I'd say it has no value at all if it's never used.
