Simply the best, better than all the rest!

Chrono Trigger OSV is three hours of the best videogame music ever. All the music is filled with emotion. I cannot listen to "To Far Away Times" or "To Good Friends" without crying. They are sad yet filled with love and are by far the best songs on the soundtrack. They will surely mix with your emotions.
The character themes are the best I have ever heard. They are all so different from each other. You can tell Mitsuda spent a lot of time conjuring up these works of art.
The unreleased tracks are amazing. "Singing Mountain" starts out as a time warp sound (which is annoying), but then the wind begins to blow and the music starts to play, and it is excellent. Another song that will make you cry. "Battle 2" is a jazzy song that doesn't waste time. It just hops ya right into the song from the get go. I just love the bass on this one.
When playing the game, I never realized how beautiful some of the songs are. "Peaceful Days" and "Wild Scene" are two of the world map songs, to 1000 AD and 600 AD. Traveling from town to town I barely noticed them but on the OSV I do notice them and they are *great*. "Guardia Caslte" is a song that I noticed but didn't think too fondly of. Now, I have to say it is amazing. The instruments aren't spactacular but the way it is arranged leads to a great song.
Some of the songs I wish were a little longer ("Robo's Theme" comes to mind), but most are around three minutes. Which is great compared to some OSVs. They play through two to three times each, except for the ending songs.
Out of the 64 tracks, I like 63 of them - "Tyrano Castle" is a little too annoying for me. Disc 3 is by far the best despite the "bad song", maybe the best disc ever of any type of music. Disc 2 is good too but the mini-music can get a little annoying. Disc 1 is good as well, but doesn't have the memorable songs from the game that disc 3 does.
This OSV is the best ever. Although I haven't heard them all, I find it impossible to imagine a better OSV than this one. Pick it up at any cost.
