I do too.

Crap, that's one more game I need to preorder. :D I totally forgot.  Oh well, not like I'm not going to be in GameStop a bajilliion times this month picking up preorders anyway.

So they changed it to "Tis your birth and faith that wrong you, not I"...

I miss the more cutting "Blame yourself or God". sad

Other than that the cutscene was alright, but I suppose that it'll totally replace the original in-game cutscene.  I actually liked that FFT used the in-game engine for its cutscenes.  That allowed it to flow naturally from cutscene to battle and battle to cutscene without any disconnect.  Will every single cutscene be redone in the new style for the PSP game?

I, for some reason, prefer the new translation, Megavolt.  And since I like the art style so much, I actually prefer this over the in-game cutscenes from before.

Well, it won't have the Daravonese from the PS1 version, at least.  All I can say is that it'll take some getting used to for me.  I've put hundreds and maybe even a thousand hours into the original PS1 game.  Whether I'll come to accept the changes or reject them like I do the changes to the Star Wars OT remains to be seen.

I've liked Yoshida's art style since I first played Ogre Battle on the SNES.  I wouldn't have Fogel as my avatar if I didn't.

I love the design but I really wish they had drawn it by hand rather than doing it in 3D. The Japanese handle their style wonderfully in 2D. 3D is harder to control and, though some shots (like the basic run) are great, others suffer from that lack of control.

The colours and design, however, I love. I never finished the PS1 game, only because I had too much to play at the time. Hope I make it through this version.

I, too missed "Blame yourself, or God."  But the new animations are awesome!

Holy crap, they sure improved the translation!  I`m getting even more excited for this version, now.

I like the art and animation they have going here, though it lacks the sheer charm of 2D sprites walking in place.  :-)  The voice acting's not great, but I guess it's pretty good by video game standards.  I won't be buying this since I got fed up with the original after about eight hours, but it's neat to see what they're doing with it.

Crap. Now I want a PSP. Shame that it's only for remakes of games I already enjoyed (and emulation).
