Yeah, I'm seeking info on what the songs are for each Tales of game. It's a bit tricky finding the info since the vocal songs keep getting cut from the English releases, similar to the Rock Man series.

If any knowledgable Tales of masters could tell me what the opening and ending (if any) songs are for each game, that'd be great.

Tales of Destiny (PS1, PS2)
OP: DEEN / Yume de Aru You ni

Tales of Destiny II (PS2)
OP: Mai Kuraki / Key To My Heart

Tales of Eternia (PS1, PSP)
OP: Garnet Crow / Flying

Tales of Eternia: The Animation (Anime)
OP: Masami Okui / Sora ni kakeru hashi
ED: Masami Okui / I'd love you to touch me

Tales of Innocence (NDS)
OP: KOKIA / Follow the Nightingale
ED: KOKIA / say goodbye & good day

Tales of Legendia (PS2)
OP: Do As Infinity / Tao

Tales of Mobile: Tales of Commons (Mobile)
OP: Uemura Kana / Kiseki

Tales of Phantasia (GBA, SFC)
OP: Yukari Yoshida / The Dream Will Not Die

Tales of Phantasia (PS1, PSP)
OP: Yo-mi / The Dream Will Not Die
ED: Yukari Yoshida / In the Starry Sky... (Moonlight Version)

Tales of Phantasia: The Animation (Anime)
OP: Suzuki Masami / Yume no Hate
ED: Suzuki Masami / Priere

Tales of Rebirth (PS2)
OP: Every Little Thing / Goodnight

Tales of Symphonia (NGC)
OP: Day After Tomorrow / Soshite boku ni dekiru koto

Tales of Symphonia (PS2)
OP: Day After Tomorrow / Starry Heavens

Tales of Symphonia: The Animation (Anime)
OP: Kawai Eri / Almateria ~Vocal Mix~
ED: Hikita Kaori / Negai

Tales of the Abyss (PS2)
OP: Bump of Chicken / Karma

Tales of the Tempest (NDS)
OP: Misono (Vocalist from "Day After Tomorrow") / Versus

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (PSP)
OP: Kana Uemura / Hikari to Kage
ED: Kana Uemura / Kamihikouki

Let me know if there's any errors or if you can add anything.

Thanks.

Not sure if these are opening or closings because the CD singles just say "theme songs," but here's what info I have:

Tales of Destiny:
"Yume de aru you ni" by DEEN

Tales of Phantasia (PS)
Opening: "Yume wa owaranai ~Kobore ochiru toki no shizuku~" by Yo-mi

I also have some info on the Tales anime; I'll edit this post a little later when I find it.

Well,

Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube) theme song is "starry Heavens" by Jpop group Day after tomorrow

Tales of Symphonia (PS2) theme song is "Soshite boku ni dekiru koto" by the same group.

Edited my first post.

Also added the theme songs for Tales of the Tempest and the lesser known (to me at least) mobile game, Tales of Commons.

Yume de aru you ni is indeed, the opening song.

Both versions had different songs? Well that's news.

Cheers for the input.

Okay, here's info for the Tales of Eternia anime:

Opening: "Sora ni kakeru hashi" by Masami Okui
Closing: "I'd love you to touch me" by Masami Okui

Tales of Phantasia SFC ED: None (just a regular "ending" track)
Tales of Phantasia SFC ED: Apparently Yukari Yoshida - "Hoshi o Sora ni... (Moonlight Version)" [In the Starry Sky...]
Tales of Eternia ED: I keep reading it's "eighteen" by "NEW CINEMA TOKAGE", but I don't know myself. There is an instrumental arrange of "flying" too.
Tales of Destiny2 OP: Mai Kurai - key to my heart
Tales of Destiny2 ED: None, an instrumental arrange of "key to my heart" (like all instrumental arranges, not found in any official CDs)
Tales of Rebirth OP: Goodnight
Tales of Rebirth OP: None (not 100% sure), an instrumental arrange of "Goodnight".
Tales of the Abyss OP: Karma

The Tales of Commons/Tempest songs should be the OP, from to the official site.
Also: Tales of Phantasia GBA has Yukari Yoshida - Yume wa Owaranai [The Dream Will Not Die] too and no ED.

I'm pretty sure ToD, ToS and ToA don't have ED songs, just regular tracks. Dunno about ToL (I don't think it has either).

(minor nitpick: ToS PS2 should go after ToS GC)

Thanks for the contributions.

I guess most of us have never completed the JP Tales ofs (neither have I)... to be completely sure what the ending song is eh ^_~

Well getting the OPs is good enough, haven't even listened to half of those.

The reason why a couple non-j-pop ending tracks of Tales games are unknown is that they never saw a release on separate CDs and such due to mixing in parts of licensed music. Tales games with such endings are:
Phantasia SFC: some unnamed track without reference, "Tomorrow is a Holiday" as unlockable tune
Destiny: "Future"
Eternia: the first ending (there are two) is an orchestral medley of several Eternia tune with the OP theme mixed in
Destiny 2: very long piano/small orchestra rendition around the OP theme
Symphonia: "Ending Staff Roll"
Rebirth: long piano-leading-into-big-orchestra rendition around the OP theme
Abyss: odd mix of piano/small orchestra + Tear's song + some more music
All of the rearranged music is done by Sakuraba, and like all Tales FMV music it's the better side of Tales music.

Oh, that makes sense I guess.

Hum, well since the ending tracks are nameless, not much point keeping them in the list then.

I didn't see the song for "Tales of Innocence" listed, either. This one has both an opening and an ending, both by KOKIA, and available on a maxi-single (catalog number VTCL-35011):
OP: Follow the Nightingale
ED: say goodbye & good day

Since you seemed to also want the OVA anime themes, here are the ones that aren't yet posted:
Tales of Phantasia The Animation (both available on the soundtrack by the same name, catalog number FCCM-0080):
OP - Yume no Hate (by Suzuki Masami)
ED - Priere (by Suzuki Masami)

Tales of Symphonia The Animation (both available on the maxi-single by the same name, catlaog number FCCM-0190):
OP: Almateria ~Vocal Mix~ (by Kawai Eri)
ED: Negai (by Hikita Kaori)

Hope that helps some ^_^

Yeah, my post was older than the games listed. ^^

In any case, thanks for bringing them up, I haven't been keeping track of the "Tales of..." games, simply because there's a lot of them.

Anyway, I updated the main post with your contributions and mine ((Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (PSP)) as well as alphabetised it.

The list should be pretty much complete (for now).
