That's right.  A brief examination of the original VGM CDs that I currently have in my possession shows that I have in excess of 1,000,000 yen (in original retail value) worth of CDs on my shelves.  I don't know whether I should be proud or horrified.

Any other proud million-yenners in the crowd?  I know quite a few used to be far above that level (Jodo Kast, Moonraiser, Chudah, Carl), but I'm not sure how many are left these days.

Congrats on reaching another milestone achievement!  (been there, done that!)

Welcome to the VGM addicts club, we should have an official sticker made or something.... smile

I guess I should of known I had a problem when the amount of money I spent on game soundtracks eclipsed the amount spent on actual games.

Pretty sure I am, though I'm too afraid to know for certain. ^_~ And I've sold off quite a few CDs during the time period....I'm sure that the value of CDs that have passed through my hands over the years plus whatever I currently own would equal 1 million. ^_~

And to the person who compared his/her games-to-VGM ratio....I know exactly what you mean. ^_~

If I took the number of CDs I have, and estimate a 1000 yen per disc original market price, I'm over halfway to a million yen.

If I were you I would be horrified, but it's a pleasure so enjoy it :)

I read that and I wonder...what would it be worth in Turkish Lira? One moment...

(quick check of current exchange and some spit-take math, aaaand...)

1,000,000 Yen = 11,600,000 Lira.

There you have it. Tenfold profit just like that. Ain't commerce wunnerful?
