This issue was brought up in another thread. I'm playing BoF3 and I'm loving it - it's a quality classic. I'm definitely hoping BoF4 makes it to PSP too as I never actually played that one.

But, as for why it has not made it to the US - there seems to be a story around message boards that SCEA require 33% new content for an old game to be released on PSP. That could be a completely false rumour.

Does anyone know any more about this?

It would seem nuts not to bring a game to the US for that reason alone but then we are talking Sony here.

Could be complete bull - after all, it would be hard to argue that SFA3 Max has 33% new content or Darkstalkers for that matter...

Same thing for Tales of Eternia. The PSP remake was released in Europe two weeks ago, but was never announced for the US... I'm currently enjoying it, this is the first PSP Japanese RPG in Europe (along with Breath of Fire 3).

Is it not a matter of editors (such as Ubisoft, for ToE) more than of Sony?

I've never actually played Tales of Eternia. How is it?

It's Tales Of Destiny 2 released in the US (and not in Europe).
