The best classic game music and more
This came on randomly on my iPod, not sure where I acquired, but I wondered if by any chance anyone might have the musician list playing on these EXPLOSIVE fusion/metal songs...The drummer sounds like Steve Smith from Journey...but I never heard him playing on video game music before..Maybe a project that Tony MacAlpine was involved in? (guitar player)
I'm guessing here, but that's what it sounds like at times

Need more infos, dude. So it's not audio ripped from the game disc? Are there track names? The only work that Steve and Tony have done together was on Tony's first and last solo albums. I highly doubt that either of them is playing on the music in question.
Oh, and sorry I forgot to say it but the Alex Argento album you uploaded awhile back is excellent! Wish I could find a copy for myself

While my mind is frail, at least my ears do not deceive me, it was Steve Smith on some of those Vinney Moore tunes.

Ahh - Steve and Tony played on a followup album from 2005 'Chromaticity'. There's also another project called Metalex.
Re: Argento, his music is amazing, you should be able to order the album directly from his myspace site...He has another one in the works supposedly.

Haven't heard it, any good? Also, who was on it? According to: http://www.prog-nose.org/news.php?item.175.6, I didn't recognize any of the musicians.
I haven't heard it yet, either. I forgot that Argento only plays guest keys on it but it still sounds interesting. Hopefully I'll pick it up with my next CD Universe order. One great CD I got recently is Explorers Club "Age of Impact". When I found out that Derek Sherinian and James Murphy were on it I had to check it out! There are only 5 songs on it but the shortest one is over 8 minutes!
